Head-ETP For Reputed Bulk Drug company at DeraBassi

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and efficient operation of effluent treatment plants, zero liquid discharge plant (Reverse osmosis, multiple effect evaporator, agitated thin film dryer plants etc.). Air pollution control and management.
• Ensure solid, hazardous, bio-medical waste, e-wastes management & handling as per regulatory requirements. Co-ordinate with landfill, incineration, co-processing & waste mixing facilities, recyclers etc. for disposal of hazardous waste. Also co-ordinate with concerned stakeholders for managing & handling of non-hazardous wastes.
• Fulfill all requirements of regulatory bodies such as Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Pollution Control Boards etc. and monitor compliance. Prepare technical details including calculations of pollution loads for environmental impact assessment, consent to establish/operate etc. Should be acquainted with XGN and online regulatory submissions. Liasoning with statutory authorities (PCB, MOEF & CC etc.).
• To implement the guidelines / SOPs laid down by the Management on EHS. Also prepare and implement the guidelines / SOPs on environmental management, whenever required.
• To maintain records, documents etc. as per the requirement of the stakeholders. Capex & OPEX preparation, implementation & monitoring.
• To guide the plant personnel for smooth operation of Effluent Treatment Plant, RO, MEE and ATFD and help them for troubleshooting.

Preferred candidate profile

• M.Sc. / M. Tech. Environmental Management
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the engineering function of a Bulk Drug Pharma manufacturing facility.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FDA, cGMP, etc.) and industry best practices.
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project execution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and solve complex problems.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
