Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join Rahul Jain’s team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of video storytelling, audience engagement, and digital content creation, particularly for YouTube and social media platforms.

You will work closely with the content and production teams to transform raw footage into engaging videos that align with our content strategy and audience expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube videos, podcasts, interviews, and other digital content.
• Edit short-form videos, including YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other social media formats.
• Create engaging video narratives with strong hooks, smooth transitions, effective pacing, and visual storytelling.
• Add graphics, animations, subtitles, sound effects, music, and other elements to enhance viewer engagement.
• Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form videos.
• Collaborate with researchers, scriptwriters, and the content team to understand the objective and tone of each video.
• Ensure high-quality output while meeting publishing schedules and deadlines.
• Stay updated on video editing trends, social media formats, and audience retention techniques.
• Incorporate feedback and make revisions efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in video editing for YouTube, podcasts, or social media.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, sound design, and visual composition.
• Knowledge of YouTube content formats and audience retention principles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work within tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
• A portfolio or links to previously edited videos are required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience editing finance, business, educational, or interview-based content.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and tools such as Adobe After Effects.
• Understanding of YouTube analytics and content performance.

Work Location

Gurgaon, Haryana. This is an on-site role requiring work from the office five days a week.
