Role Description

We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer who can transform ideas into scroll-stopping visuals and help build a distinctive, modern brand identity.

Your primary responsibility will be to design compelling creatives for Hullo's social media, digital advertisements, packaging, website, and marketing campaigns.

Beyond designing, we'd love someone who thinks creatively, understands consumer behaviour, follows visual trends, and can contribute original ideas for campaigns and content.

The ability to conceptualise creative campaigns, develop original content ideas, and independently execute visual concepts will be a significant added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Graphic Design: Create engaging visuals for Instagram, Meta Ads, website banners, product packaging, promotional materials, and marketing campaigns.
• Brand Storytelling: Translate marketing briefs and brand messages into compelling visual concepts with strong hooks and clear communication.
• Digital Advertising: Design high-performing static creatives, carousels, and promotional graphics tailored for different digital platforms.
• Packaging & Print: Develop and adapt packaging designs, product catalogues, flyers, standees, and other print-ready marketing materials.
• Visual Consistency: Maintain a cohesive brand identity across typography, colours, layouts, imagery, and design elements.
• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, content, and product teams to brainstorm ideas and execute campaigns.
• Design Execution: Manage multiple projects, incorporate feedback efficiently, and deliver high-quality designs within deadlines.
• Motion Graphics: Create basic animated creatives, GIFs, and simple motion graphics when required.

Bonus: Creative Content & Conceptualisation

We're especially interested in designers who can think beyond a design brief and bring fresh ideas to the table.

• Conceptualise original ideas for social media posts, carousels, digital ads, and brand campaigns.
• Develop creative visual hooks that capture attention and communicate a message instantly.
• Understand social media trends, consumer psychology, and what makes content engaging and shareable.
• Experiment with new visual styles, AI-assisted design tools, and creative formats.
• Independently develop concepts from initial idea to final creative execution.
• Proactively suggest content ideas and creative directions that strengthen Hullo's brand storytelling.

These skills are a bonus, not a mandatory requirement.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Working knowledge of Figma and Canva.
• Excellent understanding of typography, composition, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience designing for Instagram, YouTube, Meta Ads, and digital marketing platforms.
• Ability to create clean, premium, modern designs that align with brand guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro, or other motion design tools is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and awareness of current design trends.

Experience & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably with an agency, startup, FMCG, lifestyle, or D2C brand.
• A strong portfolio showcasing social media creatives, branding, digital campaigns, packaging, and conceptual design work.
• A bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design or a related field is required.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate with a creative team.
