Godown In-Charge

Role & responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day godown and warehouse operations.

- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory registers.

- Handle inward and outward material movements.

- Coordinate material loading, unloading, and dispatch.

- Ensure proper storage and safety of materials.

- Conduct regular stock verification and physical inventory checks.

- Coordinate with the sales, purchase, and accounts teams.

- Prepare stock reports, delivery challans, and other necessary documents.

- Minimize stock discrepancies and prevent material damage.

- Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the godown.

Preferred candidate profile

- Knowledge of inventory management and stock maintenance.

- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel.

- Good organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to manage warehouse workers and daily operations.

- Experience in plywood, building materials, hardware, or interior products will be an added advantage.
