Key Responsibiliti esInfrastructure Strategy & Architectur e:Develop and execute a robust IT infrastructure strategy aligned with business goal s.Design scalable, secure, and high-performance network, server, and storage architecture s.Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption and digital transformatio n.Core Banking Systems & Migration Project s:Oversee infrastructure support for core banking applications, ensuring seamless operation s.Lead core banking system migrations, upgrades, and integration project s.Collaborate with vendors, IT teams, and business units to ensure smooth transition s.Ensure minimal downtime and maximum-security during banking system transformation s.Operations Managemen t:Ensure 24/7 availability and peak performance of IT infrastructure system s.Oversee the administration of physical and virtual servers (Windows, Linux, AIX), cloud services (Azure, Office365), and virtualization platforms (VMware ).Manage enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NAS, HCI) and backup strategies (Veeam or equivalent ).Ensure effective capacity planning and disaster recovery readines s.Security & Complianc e:Enforce security policies and IT controls to protect infrastructure from cyber threat s.Conduct regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and ensure regulatory complianc e.Oversee patch management, system hardening, and data protection initiative s.Team Leadership & Developmen t:Lead, mentor, and develop the IT infrastructure team, fostering technical excellenc e.Set performance goals, ensuring accountability and continuous improvemen t.Project Managemen t:Oversee infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business need s.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the deployment of new systems and service s.Vendor & Stakeholder Managemen t:Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring high-quality service deliver y.Work closely with business stakeholders to understand infrastructure needs and deliver solution s. Key Requiremen ts:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master’s degree preferre d).Oracle Certification Mandat orySQL and PostgreSQL Knowledge (Good to ha ve)MCSE, VMware VCP, ITIL, Azure, or cybersecurity certifications preferr ed.10+ years of IT infrastructure experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership ro le.Proven expertise in core banking infrastructure support, system migrations, and upgrad es.Extensive knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies, including virtualization, cloud, storage, and networki ng.Strong background in high-availability systems, disaster recovery planning, and security best practic es.Experience leading complex infrastructure projects and delivering results in a banking environme nt.Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving skil ls.Excellent leadership and team development abiliti es.Effective communication and stakeholder manageme nt.High adaptability and innovation in technology adopti on.
