General Surgeon

Role & Responsibilities

• Examine patients and diagnose conditions requiring surgical intervention.
• Perform general surgical procedures in accordance with medical standards and the patient's clinical condition.
• Evaluate patients before surgery and determine appropriate surgical treatment plans.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and provide post-operative care and follow-up.
• Manage surgical emergencies and provide timely medical intervention when required.
• Monitor patients' recovery and manage post-surgical complications.
• Coordinate with anesthesiologists, physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Explain surgical procedures, potential risks, benefits, and recovery plans to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate medical records, surgical notes, and patient documentation.
• Follow infection control protocols, patient safety guidelines, and medical ethics.
• Ensure safe surgical practices and adherence to applicable clinical standards.
• Contribute to maintaining high-quality surgical services at Brij Chikitsa Sansthan, Mathura.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Qualification:

  MS / DNB in General Surgery from a recognized medical institution.
• Must have valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the respective State Medical Council.
• Prior experience in general surgery will be preferred; fresh MS / DNB candidates may also apply.
• Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in surgical assessment and patient management.
• Good decision-making, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle surgical emergencies and post-operative complications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient safety, ethical medical practices, and quality healthcare.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary medical team.

• Job Location:

  Brij Chikitsa Sansthan, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.

• Employment Type:

  Full-time / Part-time, depending on mutual agreement.

• Salary:

  Negotiable, based on qualification and experience.
