French Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our language department. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the French language and a solid understanding of effective teaching methodologies. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students of varying levels, promoting language acquisition and cultural appreciation. #Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver effective French language lessons in alignment with curriculum objectives. * Develop lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to student needs. * Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. * Assess and monitor student progress regularly through assignments, tests, and class participation. * Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve. * Organize cultural activities and language immersion experiences where appropriate. * Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events. * Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. --- #Minimum Qualifications: *Minimum DELF B2 Certification* in French. * Proven proficiency in spoken and written French at an upper-intermediate level or above. * Bachelor’s degree in Education, Languages, or a related field (preferred). * Prior teaching experience is an asset, but not mandatory. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to use technology and digital tools for teaching and student engagement. # Preferred Qualifications: * DALF C1 or C2 certification. * Experience teaching in a multicultural or international environment. * Familiarity with CEFR levels and language assessment frameworks. * Knowledge of French-speaking cultures and history.
