Extrusion Floating Fish Feed Plant Operator in Aligarh (1TPH)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities 1. Plant Operations: Operate and monitor the 1TPH extrusion line for fish feed manufacturing. Coordinate raw material handling (especially ground RM) and feeding processes. Ensure consistent product quality and throughput. 2. Equipment Management & Troubleshooting: Oversee extruder modifications and pre-conditioner integration. Identify mechanical or operational issues in real time and rectify them quickly. Plan and execute maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. 3. Quality Control & Process Optimization: Implement quality checks to ensure feed consistency (e.g., moisture, density, pellet size). Suggest and execute process improvements to enhance plant efficiency and reduce waste. Proactively advise on raw material selection and feed formulations based on industry best practices. 4. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate production reports, machine logs, and inventory records. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory standards, and hygiene guidelines. 5. Team Collaboration & Leadership: Work alongside other technicians and labor staff, providing guidance and on-the-job training. Communicate effectively with management about plant performance, required investments, and ongoing issues. Qualifications & Skills Experience: Minimum 35 years’ experience in operating extrusion-based fish feed or similar feed plants. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of extrusion technology, feed formulations, pre-conditioners, and mechanical troubleshooting. Familiarity with FRK (Fortified Rice Kernel) lines is a plus. Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrated history of identifying root causes and implementing effective fixes in feed production lines. Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Feed Technology, or a related field is preferred (equivalent hands-on experience also considered). Analytical & Communication Skills: Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and clear reporting to stakeholders. Work Ethic: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle emergency breakdowns, and lead proactive maintenance.
