JD for ETL Testing:

• We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented

  Data Engineering and Testing Specialist

  to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in data engineering, BI reporting, ETL processes, and testing methodologies to ensure the quality and integrity of data across our systems and applications.
• The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills with hands-on experience in testing, test data creation, defect triage, and working with various databases and reporting tools with Automation experience.

Key Responsibilities:

 1. Having good knowledge on Data warehouse Concepts, ETL validations  using tools such as Informatica, Matillion and DBT for seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading, Ensure data integrity and quality throughout the ETL pipeline.

 2. Execute and manage queries across various databases including Snowflake, Oracle, Netezza, SQL Server, Dynamo DB, DB2, and Postgres and Conduct data validation and troubleshooting through SQL scripting.

3. Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Query Surge, Tosca DI, Python, java and selenium and Improve testing efficiency by integrating automation in data testing and regression processes.

4. Perform data validation and generate reports using BI tools such as MicroStrategy, Power BI, and Tableau and Ensure data consistency and accuracy across reporting platforms for business insights.

5.Author comprehensive test scripts to validate data processes and outcomes.

6.Perform regression testing to ensure the continued functionality and performance of data applications.

7.Analyze defects and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.

8.Create, manage, and maintain test data sets to ensure realistic and consistent testing scenarios.

9.Apply appropriate testing methodologies to ensure thorough coverage and quality control of data systems.

10.Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for cloud-based testing environments and solutions.

11.Having a knowledge on Test management tools like Jira, ALM, etc..
