About the Role We are looking for an Engineering Product Manager with a strong software engineering background who has transitioned into product management . You will be responsible for defining the product roadmap, working closely with engineering teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, high-performance software products. Your technical expertise will enable you to bridge the gap between product vision and technical execution. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy Roadmap Define and own the product roadmap , aligning it with business goals and customer needs. Translate complex customer and business requirements into clear product specifications . Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user feedback to drive product decisions. Technical Collaboration Execution Work closely with engineering, design, and business teams to develop scalable, high-quality software products. Break down technical requirements into clear user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria. Ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and performance while balancing trade-offs. Act as a technical product owner , prioritizing features and backlog items based on business value and effort estimates. Stakeholder Management Work cross-functionally with engineering, UX, marketing, sales, and customer support teams. Communicate technical and non-technical updates effectively to both technical and business stakeholders . Manage product launches and ensure alignment across teams for smooth delivery. Data-Driven Decision Making Define and monitor key product metrics (KPIs) to measure success and continuously improve the product. Leverage data analytics, A/B testing, and user feedback to optimize features and enhance user experience. Customer Market Insights Engage with users, customers, and stakeholders to understand pain points and translate them into actionable insights. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to drive innovation. Required Skills Qualifications Must-Have 2-3 years of prior experience in Software Engineering (Backend, Frontend, or Full-Stack Development). 2-3 years of experience as a Product Manager in a tech-driven company. Strong understanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD, DevOps, etc.) . Ability to write technical product requirements (PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, API specifications, etc.) . Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and experimentation (A/B testing, cohort analysis, etc.) . Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset. Good-to-Have Experience in SaaS, Cloud Computing, E-commerce, or AI/ML products . Familiarity with APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) . Prior experience working with engineering teams on system architecture, database design, and performance optimization .
