Job location- Udupi (Karnataka) Candidate, having: we need candidates specifically from Shipyard, shipbuilding and ship repair background of Marine Vessel. 5 to 15 years experienced need to apply. Qualification - Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Experience - Min 5 Years, maximum 15 years. Industry Eligibility - Shipyard, Shipbuilding & Ship repair. Joining Status - at the earliest. Salary - As per industry standard. Job Profile:- Skills in the field of Machinery Installation, Commissioning, Test & Trials, Repairs & Maintenance of Machinery, knowledge of Shipbuilding Mechanical Outfit works including Piping/Hydraulics and knowledge of building and repairs of Marine Vessel, Capable of handling Technician/Skilled and unskilled worker team. Duties & Responsibilities: Overseeing the installation of mechanical systems on ships, including Main engines, propulsion systems, and auxiliary machinery and piping ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and optimizing vessel performance throughout the shipbuilding process; collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate systems effectively within the overall vessel design. Overseeing the Propeller Shaft alignment during construction of vessels to ensure designs are executed correctly and meet safety and technical standards. Conducting tests & trials on Main Engine, DG, Compressor, Pumps, Oily water separator, Hydrosphere and other equipment to ensure they are safe and operate effectively. Ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards and regulations at all times. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of Mechanical Engineering- Ship Systems. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD). Knowledge of maritime regulations and standards relevant to shipbuilding. Experience with shipbuilding practices and procedures. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
