Engineer Heavy Fabrication

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Production schedules for effective utilisation of resources
• Develop efficient workflows to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Implement quality control systems, conduct audits, and address quality issues.
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Lead and manage a team of fabricators, and welders
• Provide training, support, and development opportunities for team members.
• Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
• Coordinate with customer departments to align production activities with delivery timelines
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure timely availability of resources.
• Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions
• Ensure all operations comply with industry safty standards, regulations, and certifications.
• Maintain accurate records of production, quality control, safety Incidents, and other key metrics.
• PPC programming knowledge & experience
