Role Overview As a Merchandiser, you will act as the key point of contact between production, vendors, and international buyers. Your role will involve managing sampling, production follow-ups, pricing support, and ensuring the timely execution of orders from concept to shipment. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with buyers for new orders, approvals, and requirements. Develop and manage samples based on buyer specifications and timelines. Handle order processing from inquiry to shipment, ensuring accuracy and precision. Communicate with production, quality, sourcing, and logistics teams to meet deadlines. Identify and source fabrics, trims, and raw materials as per buyer specifications. Track and monitor order status, production progress, approvals, and dispatch. Work closely with QA teams to ensure compliance with product quality standards. Prepare documentation related to orders, costing, shipment tracking, and MIS reports. Maintain buyer relationships and support business retention and growth. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, Apparel Merchandising, Business Administration , or related field. 0–3 years of experience in merchandising (freshers with internships can apply). Strong communication skills (written & verbal), especially with international buyers. Knowledge of textile production processes, export workflows, and quality standards (preferred).
