Job Description: We are seeking a confident and motivated Electrical Technician to join our site team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various solar and electrical activities, ensuring the successful execution of solar projects. Key Responsibilities: As an Electrical Technician, your responsibilities will include: 1. Installing solar panels on rooftops or ground-mounted structures. 2. Handling wiring and cabling to connect solar panels with inverters and batteries. 3. Conducting system testing to ensure optimal functionality. 4. Troubleshooting electrical and solar system issues. 5. Installing and configuring solar inverters to convert DC to AC power. 6. Performing routine maintenance, including cleaning panels and inspecting connections. 7. Setting up and maintaining solar battery storage systems. 8. Conducting electrical safety checks to ensure compliance with standards. 9. Installing monitoring systems to track energy generation and consumption. 10. Assisting in site surveys to determine suitable installation locations. 11. Installing grounding and earthing systems for safety. 12. Working on power distribution tasks, including grid connections. 13. Maintaining documentation of installations, inspections, and performance metrics. 14. Supporting senior engineers with system design and technical calculations. 15. Identifying ways to optimize energy generation and system efficiency. 16. Testing components such as PV modules, inverters, and cables. 17. Ensuring weatherproofing and durability of installations. 18. Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition. 19. Participating in training sessions to stay updated on new technologies. 20. Interacting with customers to explain system operations and maintenance.
