Hocco is Hiring Electrical Engineer Job Location -Bavla Job Responsibilities We are hiring an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, implement, and manage all electrical systems for our ice cream manufacturing facility. The role involves ensuring reliable power distribution, equipment integration, and compliance with safety and food industry standards. Key Responsibilities Design and oversee electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and automation controls for the plant. Coordinate with process, mechanical, and civil teams to integrate electrical requirements into the facility design. Plan and supervise installation of panels, transformers, control systems, and emergency power backup systems (UPS/Generator). Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes (e.g., IEC, NEC) and food industry hygiene standards (e.g., sealed conduits, moisture-resistant fittings). Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and power factor correction. Select and specify appropriate electrical equipment including VFDs, PLCs, MCCs, and sensors. Collaborate with utility providers for power connections and load approvals. Manage electrical contractors, prepare BOQs, and monitor project timelines. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech); Master’s preferred. Experience: 4–8 years in industrial plant design and execution, ideally in food, dairy, or FMCG. Software Proficiency: AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, PLC programming tools, MS Project/Primavera. Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, earthing, fire alarm systems, and automation integration
