Senior Associate Marketing & Communications Team Primary Role & Responsibilities Develop, edit, and manage content for DFI’s website, social media channels, newsletters, email campaigns, reports, and presentations. Drive communication for DFI initiatives, programs, policy updates, and industry activities while ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with DFI’s positioning. Manage social media calendars, track engagement metrics, and coordinate with design and video teams to produce sector-relevant creatives and explainers. Support communications for DFI-led and partner-driven activities, including briefs, speaker notes, press notes, and post-activity reports. Assist in public relations activities, including drafting media statements, maintaining media lists, and monitoring coverage related to the drone sector. Coordinate with internal teams, industry partners, and government stakeholders to gather inputs and align messaging. Manage review cycles, approvals, and quality checks across all marketing and communication outputs. Contribute ideas for campaigns, outreach activities, and communication strategies to strengthen DFI’s visibility. Required Qualification & Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Policy, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify technical or policy-related information. Understanding of digital communication trends, social media behaviour, and content formats relevant to technology sectors. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in MS Office with familiarity in design tools such as Canva, Figma, or Adobe tools being an added advantage. Interest in emerging technologies, drones, or aviation sectors is preferred. Required Past Experience 2 to 4 years of experience in marketing, communications, digital media, or content management. Experience managing organisational social media accounts and executing structured content plans. Prior experience drafting newsletters, press releases, reports, articles, or campaign content. Experience coordinating with design teams, vendors, or external partners is preferred. Experience in technology, startup ecosystems, industry associations, or policy-oriented organisations will be an advantage.
