Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer with strong hands-on expertise in cloud platforms, application deployment, infrastructure management, and production support. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining cloud environments, automating deployment processes, monitoring application performance, and managing the deployment and maintenance of mobile applications on the Google Play Store.

The role involves working closely with development teams to ensure secure, scalable, reliable, and high-performing web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.

- Configure and manage application hosting, servers, domains, DNS, SSL certificates, and production environments.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application builds, testing, and deployments.

- Deploy, monitor, and maintain web applications, backend services, APIs, and databases.

- Manage Android application releases, version updates, app signing, and production rollouts through the Google Play Console.

- Handle mobile application maintenance, build issues, release management, and Play Store compliance requirements.

- Monitor application performance, server health, logs, and resource utilisation.

- Troubleshoot production issues, server errors, deployment failures, downtime, and connectivity problems.

- Implement database backup, recovery, security, and disaster recovery procedures.

- Manage environment variables, access permissions, secrets, and cloud security configurations.

- Optimise application performance, infrastructure scalability, and cloud costs.

- Support integrations involving payment management, vendor acquisition, order management, vendor tracking, and delivery workflows.

- Coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth releases and reliable application operations.

- Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployments, and troubleshooting procedures.

Required Technical Skills

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms.

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.

- Knowledge of Docker, Linux server administration, Git, and GitHub.

- Experience with application hosting, deployment automation, DNS, SSL, networking, and server configuration.

- Understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including backup and recovery.

- Experience with application monitoring, logging, alerting, and production troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with Android application deployment and maintenance through Google Play Console.

- Understanding of API deployment, environment configuration, security, and performance optimisation.

- Basic scripting knowledge using Python, Bash, or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience maintaining production web and mobile applications.

- Knowledge of cloud storage, CDN, caching, and infrastructure automation.

- Experience supporting payment integrations and transaction-related workflows.

- Familiarity with mobile application release management, versioning, app signing, and Play Store policies.

- Exposure to vendor management, order processing, tracking, and delivery-based application workflows.

Education and Experience

- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.

- 2–3 years of relevant hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, deployment, or production support.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with developers and other technical teams.
