Role Purpose: The role aims to design, test, and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications that are to be deployed at client endpoints, ensuring they meet 100% quality assurance parameters. Responsibilities: 1. Understanding requirements and designing the product/software by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes. 2. Developing software solutions and facilitating root cause analysis of system issues. 3. Collaborating with functional teams or systems analysts to investigate software requirements and confer with project managers to obtain information on software capabilities. 4. Performing coding, ensuring optimal software/module development, and automating processes for software validation. 5. Modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, enhance performance, or upgrade interfaces. 6. Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status, ensuring all codes are raised as per defined norms. 7. Coordinating with the team on daily project status and progress and providing feedback on usability and serviceability. Status Reporting and Customer Focus: 1. Capturing client requirements and feedback for better quality work and on-time delivery. 2. Participating in continuing education and training to remain updated on best practices and new programming languages. 3. Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements. 4. Ensuring good quality of interaction with customers regarding e-mail content, fault report tracking, voice calls, and business etiquette. Performance Measurement: 1. Continuous Integration, Deployment & Monitoring of Software: Achieving 100% error-free onboarding & implementation, throughput %, and adherence to the schedule/release plan. 2. Quality & Customer Satisfaction: On-time delivery, managing software, troubleshooting queries, enhancing customer experience, and completing assigned certifications for skill upgradation. 3. MIS & Reporting: Ensuring 100% on-time MIS & report generation.
