Role Overview: A Client Acquisition and Business Development Specialist in the staffing industry is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities with companies that require staffing solutions. This role focuses on expanding the client base and driving revenue growth by matching client workforce needs with the staffing agency's services. Key Responsibilities: Business Development • Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and cold outreach • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and industries • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to generate leads Client Acquisition • Conduct consultative sales meetings to understand client staffing needs • Present tailored staffing solutions to prospective clients • Negotiate contracts and service agreements • Overcome objections and close new business deals. Relationship Management: • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers • Serve as the primary point of contact during the onboarding process • Collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure client requirements are met • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to identify additional opportunities Market Intelligence • Stay informed about industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitor activities • Provide feedback to leadership about market demands and service opportunities • Develop expertise in specific industry verticals to become a trusted advisor. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in staffing or HR services • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills • Strong ability to build rapport and establish credibility quickly • Self-motivated with ability to work independently • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and CRM software • Understanding of employment laws and staffing industry regulations • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, HR or related field (preferred).
