Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Deputy Manager Procurement to oversee and manage procurement activities, vendor relationships, and ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The role involves strategic sourcing, negotiation, and supporting operational excellence in procurement processes. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end procurement process for assigned categories or projects. Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain vendor relationships. Ensure procurement compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Operations,Projects) to understand requirements. Monitor supplier performance and resolve any supply or quality issues. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement strategies. Maintain and analyze procurement records and reports. Support audits and ensure documentation is up-to-date. Key Skills and Competencies: Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Knowledge of procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Darwin Box). Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure. Strong understanding of procurement best practices and market trends. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. 5–10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a similar industry.
