Roles and Responsibilities of a Supervisor: 1. Team HandlingLead the team of glass fitters, helpers, and laborers at the site. Assign daily tasks to each worker. Ensure all team members are working properly and on schedule. 2. Supervise Glass Handling & FittingMonitor the safe lifting, moving, and fixing of glass panels. Ensure correct hardware (hinges, locks, channels) is used. Prevent scratches, breakages, and wrong installations. Maintain Site Discipline and SafetyMake sure workers follow glass safety rules. Ensure use of safety tools like gloves, shoes, suction pads, belts. Keep the work area clean and organized. 4. Report to Site ManagerGive daily updates to the Site Manager about work progress. Report any damage, shortage, or worker issues immediately. Inform about material requirements in advance. 5. Material Check and UsageEnsure the right materials are picked from the store and delivered to the site. Handle leftover material carefully and send it back to the store if not used. Minimize wastage and glass breakage. Client and Site Coordination (Basic)Cooperate with the Site Manager for client instructions. Ensure workers follow client and architect directions at the site. Maintain polite behavior on site.
