Chief Medical Officer

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day medical operations of Brij Chikitsa Sansthan, Mathura.
• Supervise doctors, nursing staff, paramedical staff, and other healthcare personnel to ensure smooth functioning of the institution.
• Ensure the delivery of quality patient care and adherence to established medical standards and protocols.
• Monitor outpatient and inpatient services, emergency care, and other clinical activities, as applicable.
• Ensure proper maintenance of patient records, medical documentation, and statutory registers.
• Monitor infection control practices, hygiene, sanitation, and patient safety standards.
• Coordinate with different departments to improve operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, clinical protocols, and statutory requirements.
• Handle patient grievances and support the resolution of medical service-related issues.
• Monitor staff performance, duty rosters, and discipline to maintain efficient hospital operations.
• Coordinate with hospital management regarding medical administration, resource utilization, and service improvement.
• Ensure timely reporting of medical incidents and implementation of corrective measures.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Qualification:

  MBBS from a recognized medical institution. MD / DNB qualification in a relevant specialty will be an added advantage.
• Must have valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the respective State Medical Council.
• Prior experience in hospital administration, clinical management, or a senior medical role will be preferred.
• Strong leadership, team management, and administrative skills.
• Good understanding of hospital operations, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with doctors, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of medical documentation, infection control, quality assurance, and patient safety protocols.
• Responsible, organized, and committed to maintaining professional medical standards.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and ensure smooth day-to-day hospital operations.
