Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Education Counsellor located in Guwahati. The Education Counsellor will be responsible for providing personalized consultations, assisting with the application process, preparing students for standardized tests, and helping them with university/college selection and visa application. The counsellor's daily tasks include one-on-one student counselling, developing and implementing individualized education plans, maintaining student records, and providing career counselling to ensure students achieve their education and career goals. Position: Education Counselor – Study Abroad Division We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about guiding students toward global education opportunities. The primary responsibilities of this role include: ✅ Lead Generation – Identify and connect with prospective students from our database or through external outreach. ✅ Lead Conversion – Counsel students and convert qualified leads into successful admissions, achieving the monthly target set by the organization. ✅ Student Support – Provide accurate information about international universities, courses, admission procedures, and visa requirements. ✅ Relationship Management – Maintain positive communication with students and parents throughout the entire application process Qualifications Educational Consulting and Student Counselling skills Career Counselling and Communication skills Knowledge in the field of Education Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in the education sector is a plus Bachelor's degree in Education, Counselling, or related field
