JOB SUMMARY Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating leads through cold calls from identified lists, qualifying the leads thus generated, identifying needs, pitch, objection handling, preparing proposals & in winning deals for Technology Services. Should have experience in Technical Consultative Sales. Should be preferred for selling Managed Services for Database, Middleware, OS or Systems. Principal Accountability We are looking for someone who: Proven track record in software services (Managed Services Portfolio or Similar). Identify appropriate target Market. Identify opportunities for sales. Build qualified prospect database wherever required. Post sales presentation follow-ups towards convincing prospects. Keep sales tool updated with all prospect details and important notes. Qualify marketing leads from social media, website etc., explain the services and schedule appointments/conf calls for the Sales Manager. Understand our service in depth and communicate the same to the potential clients. Data Mining and segmenting it in different buckets for calling up and building funnel leading in lead generation. Stakeholder mapping in key industries/segments (account mapping). To promote the whitepapers or case-studies on various proposition through webinars/Social /events etc to generate leads. Follow up on leads generated through various client events/Marketing actions. Web based enquiries to be solicited and identify need to explore further. Identify and manage database of strategic clients via sales navigator and reach relevant stakeholder for appointment. Good understanding of competitive software service environments. Added advantage if worked with Cloud Services, Oracle & Microsoft Technology Service Lead Generation (Database & Middleware Management). Understanding of the Marketing Technology Vendor software services and market. QUALIF ICATION Basic Education with Graduation in any field LOCAT ION Mumbai
