Job Description

Business Analyst Responsibilities: Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business needs and translate them into functional specifications. Process Mapping: Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement or enhancement within the LOS and LMS. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clarity in requirements and expectations. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and user stories. Analysis: Conduct gap analysis and impact analysis for system changes and upgrades. Testing Responsibilities: Test Planning: Develop detailed test plans, including test cases and scenarios aligned with business requirements for LOS and LMS applications. Execution of Tests: Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure application quality and compliance with business requirements. Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects using appropriate tools; work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Support user training and assist in UAT, including gathering feedback and ensuring user satisfaction. Reporting: Provide status reports on testing progress, bugs, and overall application performance to stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in Business Analysis and Software Testing, specifically in LOS and LMS application environments. Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Loan Management Systems (LMS), their workflows, functionalities, and standard practices in the financial sector. Application Experience: Hands-on experience with Pennant / Finnone Application, including knowledge of its features, functionalities, and integration capabilities with LOS/LMS. Domain Exposure: Prior experience working with NBFCs, understanding their business models, regulatory requirements, and operational challenges. Testing Skills: Proficient in various software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge and understanding of databases, programming languages, and middleware.
