Business Analyst- (Finance & Healthcare Analytics)

Role Summary

The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing large financial and operational datasets, building advanced Power BI dashboards, performing predictive analytics, and leading a team of analysts to deliver actionable insights for business and finance leadership. Strong finance knowledge and exposure to healthcare data are key success factors for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Analyze large datasets related to

  Finance, AR, revenue, collections, costs, and operational KPIs

  .
• Design, develop, and maintain

  Power BI dashboards

  with advanced DAX measures and optimized data models.
• Perform

  trend analysis, variance analysis, and root cause analysis

  for financial performance.
• Ensure

  data accuracy, consistency, and governance

  across reports and dashboards.

Predictive & Advanced Analytics

• Build

  predictive models

  for:
• Revenue forecasting
• AR ageing and collections behavior
• Bad debts and writeoff trends
• Use Python / statistical tools for:
• Forecasting
• Pattern detection
• Scenario simulations

Automation & Data Handling

• Automate recurring MIS and reports using

  Power BI, Python, SQL, and Advanced Excel

  .
• Work with structured and unstructured data from

  ERP / HIS / billing / finance systems

  .
• Support ETL validation and data quality checks.

Team Handling

• Lead and mentor a team of data analysts.
• Assign tasks, review outputs, enforce quality standards, and ensure timely delivery.
• Support capability building in Power BI, analytics, and automation.

Required Skills

• Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling)
• Strong SQL skills
• Python for analytics and automation
• Advanced Excel
• Strong understanding of

  finance concepts

  (AR, revenue, provisions, ageing, margins)

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Experience in

  healthcare / hospital analytics

• Exposure to

  RCM, billing, insurance, AR analytics

• Experience handling

  largescale transactional data
