Job Description

Job Summary: The Blunger Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the blunger machine, which is used to mix raw materials and water into slurry for use in ceramic or clay-based production processes. The role involves maintaining correct mixing ratios, ensuring consistent slurry quality, monitoring equipment performance, and adhering to production schedules and safety protocols. The operator also assists in cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining the equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure uninterrupted operations. Key Responsibilities: Operate the blunger machine as per standard operating procedures (SOPs). Accurately measure and load raw materials and water in correct proportions. Monitor slurry mixing to ensure uniformity and required viscosity. Take and send slurry samples for quality testing at scheduled intervals. Record process parameters such as mixing time, material ratios, and batch numbers. Clean and maintain blunger tanks and associated equipment regularly. Report any equipment malfunction or irregularity to the maintenance team immediately. Ensure raw material stock levels are maintained for continuous operation. Follow all workplace safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations. Cooperate with supervisors and other operators to meet production targets. Qualifications & Skills: Education: ITI/Diploma or related discipline. Experience: 0–3 years of experience as a Blunger Operator, preferably in cement/chemical/power industry. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of plant process and control systems Knowledge of safety and environmental standards Soft Skills: Good communication and coordination skills Attention to detail Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Schedule: Rotational shift Work Location: In person
