Job Description

Job Description: The Biomedical Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of medical equipment, including monitors, ventilators, and diagnostic tools. They conduct routine inspections, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and keep detailed service records. The role involves close collaboration with clinical staff to address equipment needs and support device functionality. They also assist in evaluating and procuring new technologies, provide training on equipment usage, and contribute technical insights during hospital expansions or renovations. Work is typically performed in clinical and technical areas of the hospital.May involve exposure to biohazards, electrical hazards, or mechanical risks.Requires lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred for senior positions. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a clinical or hospital environment preferred. CBET (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician) or eligible.
