Job Summary The suitable candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the company. This role requires a strong understanding of networking and market research and a proven ability to create and execute successful business development strategies which in turn should aid in enhancing the companys market position. Responsibilities and Outcomes 1. Market Research and Strategy: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities (present & future) for growth in the global market. Keep eye on the upcoming market trends and its complications in the global market on our business. Monitor industry developments, client needs, and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market. Identify niche markets and potential areas of expansion, design and brainstorm plans accordingly with the management Develop the best and effective marketing or business development strategies to company growth in the market. 2. New Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients in the target market segments, maintain an organised client database and promptly update it with new additions. Develop a good understanding of the businesses Services and be able to advise others about them to acquire new clients. Attend industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to network with potential clients and promote company services/products. Client Management Be updated with the existing client needs, feedback and suggestions for improving our services and project deliverables. Maintain good relations with the existing clients for upcoming work and collaborate with them to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Maintain effective communication with the Management, Digital marketing and the Operations team related to client need and queries to develop customized solutions for clients. Maintain the reports for existing projects and upcoming projects from the client. Ensure that all contracts, agreements, and client interactions adhere to company policies and legal requirements. Maintain accurate records of client communications, proposals, and contracts. 4. Sales and Revenue Generation and Reporting: Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives. Translate technical information into client-friendly language during sales interactions. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals. Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the company. Generate regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and business development activities. Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and growth. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on data-driven analysis. 5. Proposal Development Create detailed and compelling proposals that outline project scopes, timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information) accurately and professionally. Work closely with the creative and technical teams to develop solution-oriented proposals. Qualifications: Education, Competencies and Experience Education Qualifications on Bachelors in Business, Marketing or Engineering MBA with specialization in Marketing is preferable Competencies Essential familiarity with Market trends to the global region (B2B market) Experience in client service, marketing or business development activities Exceptional project management skills Clear verbal and written communication skills Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently Sharp analytical and networking skills Ability to travel as needed in order to be efficient in the role. Experience Required: 3+ years of experience in marketing and business development 1+ in design engineering/renewable energy sector will be an added advantage.
