About the Role We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Connectors team and lead the development of integrations with key enterprise platforms. You will build secure and scalable connections to systems like Snowflake, BigQuery, and SharePoint, helping our AI platform retrieve and interact with enterprise data in real-time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving infrastructure and connectivity challenges, and has experience with APIs, cloud security, and enterprise data systems. Responsibilities Design and develop backend connectors to enterprise systems such as Snowflake, BigQuery, SharePoint, and similar platforms Implement secure access using protocols like OAuth2, SAML, and IAM role assumptions Collaborate with product and AI teams to identify new integration opportunities and ensure smooth data access Troubleshoot and optimize existing integrations for performance, scalability, and security Build internal tools to automate deployment, monitoring, and configuration of connectors Write clean, well-documented, and testable code for long-term maintainability What We’re Looking For 3 to 6 years of backend engineering experience with a strong focus on API integrations or enterprise connectivity Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or a similar modern backend language Strong experience with enterprise systems such as BigQuery, Snowflake, SharePoint, or JDBC-compliant data sources Knowledge of AWS infrastructure including IAM, KMS, and secure cloud networking Familiarity with RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, SAML), and secure data handling practices Strong debugging skills and the ability to work with third-party SDKs or API documentation Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a distributed, remote team environment Nice to Have Experience with integration platforms or data pipelines (similar to Fivetran, Mulesoft, or Segment) Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar enterprise compliance and security standards Familiarity with CLI tools, SDK development, or scalable connector frameworks Background in high-growth tech environments or top-tier academic programs is a plus Candidates with strong fundamentals in computer science or systems engineering are encouraged to apply What We Offer Remote-first work environment with flexible hours $60,000 USD annually, based on experience and exchange rate Opportunity to shape mission-critical infrastructure and make meaningful product contributions Work with a high-caliber engineering and AI team solving impactful problems Fast-growing environment with ownership, mentorship, and upward mobility Show more Show less
