About the Role: AVP - Platform Engineering will lead the design, development, and scaling of Liminal s infrastructure, ensuring secure, resilient, and scalable systems for managing digital assets. This role demands expertise in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices. Responsibilities: Develop and execute the platform engineering strategy for the platform, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements.. Define and oversee the platform s architecture, focusing on security, scalability, and maintainability to support Liminal s growth. Develop best practices for IaC, and cloud-native application design. Lead the development of APIs, data pipelines, and integration frameworks that enable seamless interaction between platform components and external systems. Define and monitor Metrics for platform services, ensuring high availability and resilience for mission-critical systems. Drive automation efforts across deployment, scaling, and infrastructure management processes, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines. Work closely with Cross Functional s teams to define platform requirements and deliver solutions that enhance service reliability, security, and performance. Desired Candidate Profile: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 12+ years of experience in software or platform engineering, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role focused on platform or infrastructure engineering. Extensive experience in designing and building secure, scalable custody platforms or financial technology systems. Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Cloudformation), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Deep knowledge of security protocols, encryption, and key management practices, with a strong understanding of compliance requirements. Must have experience in Datadog.
