Assistant Manager - C&I (Design & Detailed Engineering) For Noida

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Lead C&I for basic and detailed Engineering activities for Thermal and Combined cycle power projects. Responsible for preparation of C&I technical specification for major C&I items & BOQ preparation, define safety to the control system, Review of Vendor drawings, documents and Approval. C&I support engineering for preparation of P&ID , Preparation of control and monitoring philosophy, Network diagram and UPS line diagram. Selection of various field instruments and analyzers, sizing of control valves. Good understanding of process control logic of Boiler , Turbine and Other BOP packages. Preparation of RFQ for C&I packages, vendor offer evaluation and technical bid evaluation report. Preparation of instrument Datasheet, Instrument index, lay out, Hook-up, Cable interconnection & loop diagram, DCS I/O list, setting list etc Coordinate interdisciplinary departments, interactions with End customer, contractors, subcontractors. Manage and Lead FAT and SAT . Support to site team during pre- commissioning and commissioning stages. Preferred candidate profile BE, B-tech / Masters in Instrumentation Engineering or Electronics. Experience : Minimum 8 years experience in instrumentation & control systems engineering for Thermal and combined cycle power plant Working experience with one DCS would be an added advantage. Indian and International codes & standards viz IS, IEC, Industry Norms and Standards Very good knowledge of functional safety for plants and machinery. Very good conceptual and analytical skills to develop practical solutions for execution projects. Very good understanding of the processes that need to be instrumented and automated. Fluency in oral and written English, good computer skills for standard and engineering software. Perks and benefits As per Industry Standard
