Job Title: Knitting Assistant Manager Location : [Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu] Industry : Knitting Employment Type : Full-time Roles & Responsibilities - Marketing & Client Acquisition : - Visit companies/brands to promote the company and secure orders. - Build relationships with the Quality Check team and the foreman. - Inward/Outward Management: - Oversee inward goods (yarn) from suppliers, verify quality/quantity. - Manage outward dispatch of finished goods (track shipments, handle documentation). - Production Supervision: - Supervise knitting machine operators, quality checkers, and delivering the fabrics. - Ensure daily production targets are met efficiently. - Administration: - Handle bill entry. - Monitor inventory levels (yarn, finished products). - Knitting Oversight: - Understand knitting processes (e.g., machine settings, fabric types) to troubleshoot issues. - Ensure final products meet quality standards. Required Skills - Basic knowledge of knitting techniques (e.g., fleece Machine and fabric). - Experience in marketing (B2B textile industry preferred). - Proficiency in logistics management (inward/outward coordination). - Ability to handle billing/record-keeping. - Strong supervisory skills. - Fluency in Tamil and English; willingness for local travel. Qualifications - Diploma/Degree in Textile, Business, or any field. - 3+ years in knitting/textile operations or marketing. - Familiarity with Tamil Nadu’s textile hubs (e.g., Tiruppur, Bengaluru) is a plus.
