The ERP function is critical in supporting these workflows and enabling business growth. Role Overview The Junior ERP Functional will support the ERP system implementation, configuration, maintenance and user support for different modules. This is a hands-on role for someone with foundational understanding and eagerness to work in an ERP functional capacity in a manufacturing/eco-product environment. Key Responsibilities Support the configuration of ERP modules under guidance of the senior ERP functional / systems team. Assist with creation and maintenance of master data (vendors, items, materials, purchase categories, cost centres etc). Help ensure that purchaserequisition purchaseorder flows, goods receipt, invoice matching, vendor master updates are configured in the ERP system to reflect business processes. Support end-users for ERP system usage: assist with queries, helpdesk logging, escalate issues, assist in training sessions. Assist with testing of ERP configurations and changes: user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, documenting test results, and follow-up of defects. Maintain process documentation, user manuals or quick-guides related to ERP workflows in the purchase/inventory domain. Work with cross-functional teams (purchase, stores, production, quality, finance/accounts) to understand process bottlenecks and help translate business requirements into system improvements. Support periodic data clean-up, system audits for master data accuracy, vendor/ item duplication, system controls relating to procurement workflows. Assist in preparation of basic MIS / reports for purchase/inventory / vendor performance from the ERP system (in coordination with senior team). Adhere to company policies and procedures for procurement/purchase and systems governance. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in relevant domain. Some exposure to ERP or business systems (could be module usage, support role, testing) is desirable. Good command of MS Office (especially Excel) and ability to work with data. Good communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams. Analytical mindset, attention to detail, willingness to learn systems and processes. Willingness to work full time from the office in Kolkata (no remote/hybrid). The Purchase department plays a key role in ensuring timely sourcing of materials and maintaining good vendor relationships to support production and supply chain reliability. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end purchase processes for raw materials, packing materials, consumables and other procurements required by the company. Raise Purchase Requisitions (PRs), evaluate quotations, negotiate terms (price, delivery, credit) with suppliers/vendors. Convert approved requisitions to Purchase Orders (POs), monitor delivery schedules, follow up with vendors to ensure on-time and accurate delivery. Maintain and update vendor database; evaluate vendor performance (quality, delivery, cost) and recommend vendor onboarding / de-selection. Liaise closely with other departments (Production/Operations, Warehouse/Stores, Quality, Accounts) to align purchase planning with demand, inventory levels and budget. Monitor inventory / stock levels, reorder points, ensure optimal stock (avoid stockouts as well as excess holdings). Prepare and present regular purchase & inventory MIS/reports (costs, savings, vendor performance, pending POs etc). Ensure compliance with company purchase policies and procedures, and maintain proper documentation (POs, vendor contracts, records). Identify cost-saving opportunities, alternative sourcing options, standardisation of materials where feasible. Assist in implementing/maintaining procurement systems or ERP modules, and support process improvement initiatives. Manage unresolved vendor/supplier issues (quality, delivery delays, invoice discrepancies) and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve. Support audits (internal/external) of purchase process and documentation as and when required. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain / Materials Management or equivalent. Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in purchase/procurement. Strong negotiation skills, vendor management, cost analysis and procurement acumen. Good command of MS Office (especially Excel) and preferably experience with ERP or purchase/stock systems. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), and ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams. Analytical mindset, detailoriented, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment. Familiarity with inventory control, ordering cycles, vendor evaluation, purchase documentation, and compliance. Willingness to work full time from the office in Kolkata. Preferred Skills (desirable) Experience in eco-products, packaging, or a green manufacturing industry. Exposure to import sourcing, international vendor interactions, or freight/logistics coordination. Knowledge of sustainability, green procurement, or eco-certified sourcing. Experience in implementing or working with ERP modules for procurement/purchase.
