Job Title: MEP (Interior Fit-Out Projects) Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad Industry: Interior Fit-Out / Commercial Interiors / Turnkey Projects Experience Required: Minimum 4 Years in MEP coordination for interior projects Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and technically proficient Assistant Manager MEP to oversee and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works for high-end corporate interior fit-out projects . The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with strong technical expertise in project execution, services coordination, vendor management, and client interaction. The role involves planning, coordinating, supervising, and ensuring the timely and quality delivery of MEP services across multiple project sites. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Review MEP designs, GFC drawings, BOQs, and specifications for HVAC, electrical, fire-fighting, plumbing, and low-voltage systems. Coordinate with consultants, architects, and design teams to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility of MEP services. Ensure timely execution of MEP works as per project timelines, design requirements, and site conditions. Supervise and manage MEP contractors and vendors on-site to ensure smooth work execution. Coordinate MEP services installation with civil/interior finishing teams to avoid clashes and rework. Monitor installation of conduits, cabling, HVAC ducts, plumbing lines, drainage, sprinkler systems, and equipment. Conduct quality checks and inspections at key stages – concealment, testing, commissioning, etc. Verify vendor work against approved drawings and ensure all installations meet industry and client standards. Oversee the testing and commissioning of all MEP systems – including electrical load testing, AHU/BMS testing, and water/leak testing. Ensure snag-free handover of services, including documentation, as-built drawings, manuals, and test reports. Prepare and maintain MEP work progress reports, inspection records, and material approval logs. Maintain coordination drawings, red-marked drawings, and ensure as-built documentation is prepared post completion. Report daily/weekly site updates to the Project Manager and escalate issues requiring decisions. Coordinate with MEP vendors for timely deployment of manpower, materials, and equipment. Conduct technical meetings with clients and consultants for MEP clarifications, mock-ups, and approvals. Evaluate and certify subcontractor bills related to MEP works. Key Skills & Competencies: In-depth technical knowledge of MEP systems in interior fit-out environments. Understanding of coordination with other services and trades (civil, HVAC, FAS, networking, etc.). Strong skills in reading technical drawings (MEP layouts, schematic diagrams, load schedules). Hands-on problem-solving and execution mindset. Excellent coordination, communication, and client interaction skills. Eye for quality and safety during installations and commissioning. Qualification Requirements: Educational Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Building Services . Additional certifications in MEP coordination, green buildings, or safety are an advantage. Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in MEP planning, coordination, and execution for interior fit-out projects . Must have worked on projects of at least 20,000–50,000 sq. ft. or more , in corporate interior fit-out project. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD (for service drawings review), MS Excel, and MS Project (preferred). Familiarity with fire-fighting systems, BMS, ELV, HVAC, and electrical. Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
