Key Responsibilities: Project Management & Execution Lead and manage civil infrastructure projects from concept to commissioning. Reporting & Documentation Prepare detailed project reports including progress updates, resource utilization, cost tracking, and issue logs. Skills Requirements: Educational Qualifications: B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Tier-1 institutions (IITs, NITs, or equivalent). Professional Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in managing end-to-end civil construction or infrastructure projects. Experience with government/institutional projects will be an added advantage. Track record of successfully delivering high-value, multi-site projects within tight deadlines. Skills & Competencies: Strong technical knowledge of civil construction, structural engineering, and site execution. Leadership and people management skills – ability to lead large cross-functional teams. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Position Overview: Altrview is looking for an experienced Estimation Manager – Civil with a strong background in civil estimation and government project management. The role focuses on accurate cost estimation, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and technical evaluation for a wide range of civil infrastructure works excluding tendering activities . Key Responsibilities: Lead the complete estimation and costing process for civil engineering projects, specifically for government infrastructure works. Review drawings, specifications, GFC details, scope of work, and project requirements to prepare accurate BOQs and cost sheets. Perform detailed rate analysis , material take-offs, quantity surveying, and labor/resource costing. Coordinate with engineering, planning, procurement, and project execution teams to collect technical and commercial inputs required for estimation. Prepare cost comparisons, feasibility assessments, and budgetary proposals for upcoming and ongoing civil projects. Analyze historical data, market trends, vendor pricing, and construction technologies to maintain updated cost databases. Conduct site visits for technical evaluation, work assessment, and verification of project requirements. Support project managers in cost planning, value engineering, and budget optimization. Identify cost risks and propose mitigation strategies to support leadership in decision-making. Guide and mentor junior estimation engineers to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards. Maintain proper documentation for estimation processes, drawings, cost sheets, and revisions. Skills & Competencies: Strong expertise in civil estimation, cost analysis, BOQ preparation, and quantity surveying . Excellent understanding of CPWD/PWD specifications, SOR/DSR, and government project execution norms. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and estimation software/tools. Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail. Good communication skills and cross-functional coordination ability. Ability to handle multiple projects and work with strict timelines. Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering (mandatory). Additional certification in cost estimation, quantity surveying, or project management is an advantage.
