A skilled CCTV technician knowledge and experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems, including cameras, recording devices, monitors, and network infrastructure, capable of troubleshooting complex technical issues, designing optimal surveillance layouts, and ensuring the smooth operation of security camera systems across various environments. Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with CCTV systems, such as faulty cameras, network connectivity problems, recording errors, and power supply issues. Consulting with clients to understand their security needs and designing customized CCTV systems, including camera placement, cabling routes, and recording configurations. Repairing damaged CCTV equipment or replacing components as needed. horough understanding of CCTV technology, including different camera types (bullet, dome,IP, HD, PTZ), video compression formats, recording systems (DVR, NVR), network protocols, and cabling standards. Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform physical installations involving drilling, wiring, and mounting equipment. Excellent analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with CCTV systems. Clear communication with clients to understand their security needs, explain technical details, and provide updates on project progress.
