The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 14+ years of experience in procurement within a multispecialty hospital setting, with expertise in OP, IP, Central Pharma , CAPEX , and General Purchases . This leadership role will involve optimizing pharmaceutical sales, driving procurement efficiencies, and ensuring cost-effective, high-quality product acquisition. Key Responsibilities: Lead procurement operations for OP, IP, Central Pharma , CAPEX , and General Purchases , ensuring smooth operations across all hospital departments. Develop and implement strategic procurement plans , balancing cost efficiency with high-quality service and products, specifically in pharmaceuticals and medical supplies. Oversee CAPEX procurement for medical equipment, instruments, and technology, ensuring all necessary resources are available to meet the hospitals needs. Drive pharma sales growth by managing inventory efficiently, ensuring timely availability of essential drugs and supplies, and identifying opportunities to enhance pharma sales in OPD and IPD settings. Negotiate and build strong relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers, vendors, and service providers , ensuring competitive pricing and reliable supply chains. Maintain effective inventory management systems , monitoring stock levels and ensuring optimal inventory turnover for pharma, medical supplies , and CAPEX . Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to align procurement strategies with hospital budget requirements and operational goals. Ensure compliance with industry regulations , hospital policies, and quality standards in all procurement processes. Analyze procurement data and generate performance reports to track savings, procurement efficiency, and the overall impact on hospital operations. Lead and mentor the procurement team , fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and high performance within the department. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management , or a related field. Minimum 14+ years of experience in procurement in a multispecialty hospital environment. Expertise in pharma procurement , including OP, IP, Central Pharma , CAPEX , and General Purchases . Strong understanding of pharma sales management and inventory control systems. Excellent vendor management , negotiation , and cost optimization skills. Proven leadership abilities, capable of managing and mentoring a diverse team. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Preferred Skills: Experience with ERP systems and procurement software specific to the healthcare sector. Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
