Job Title: Accounts & Investment Professional (Finance & Property Management) Company : VKC Properties LLP Location: Kolkata Job Type: Full-time Reporting To: Promoter/Accounts Manager Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts & Investment Manager to oversee the complete financial operations of the company as well as individual accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for statutory filings, execution, recording, and reporting of financial transactions related to investments in shares, mutual funds, bonds, and other marketable financial instruments. Additionally, the role will involve property management tasks, ensuring efficient handling of financial records and legal compliance. Key Responsibilities: Accounts & Financial Management: Contract Drafting / Agreement Management Maintain complete company and individual financial accounts. Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts. Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory standards. Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.). Ensure timely statutory filings and compliance with relevant authorities. Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions. Investment Management: Execute, record, and report transactions related to investments in shares, mutual funds, bonds, and other financial instruments. Portfolio review / Management Helping in Investment decisions. Maintain accurate records of investment portfolios and generate periodic reports. Monitor market trends and provide recommendations for optimizing investment returns. Coordinate with brokers, fund managers, and financial advisors. Ensure compliance with investment regulations and risk management policies. Property Management: Maintain financial records related to property ownership, rental agreements, and property-related expenses. Ensure timely collection of rental income and payment of property-related dues. Handle legal documentation and compliance related to property transactions. Liaise with tenants, property managers, and legal advisors for property-related matters. Assist in property acquisitions, sales, and leasing transactions. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors/Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 10-15 years of experience in accounts management, investment handling, and property management. Proficiency in accounting Tally software. Strong knowledge of statutory regulations, taxation, and financial compliance. Experience in investment tracking, market analysis, and financial reporting. Familiar with financial concepts like the Time value of money, Internal Rate of Return, Pay-back period etc. Good understanding of property management and legal compliance related to real estate. Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage financial portfolios effectively.
