Visitors can enjoy a variety of rides and a breath-taking ambience at the park. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Water Quality Chemist at GRS Fantasy Park in Mysore. The Water Quality Chemist will be responsible for conducting water quality testing, ensuring compliance with quality control standards, and participating in research and development projects related to water quality at the park. Qualifications - Laboratory Skills and Analytical Skills Quality Control expertise Experience in Research and Development (R&D) projects Strong research skills Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field Language - English and Kannada Preference will be more given to Mysore Candidates Responsibilities - • Regularly test and analyse water samples from pools and water slides for chemical balance and contamination levels. • Ensure water quality standards comply with health and safety regulations. • Monitor and maintain chemical treatment systems, including automated dosing and filtration equipment. • Prepare detailed reports on water quality, chemical usage, and recommend improvements. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to water chemistry, imbalances, bacteria levels, or contamination risks. • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure proper functioning of filtration systems, pumps, and treatment equipment. • Manage the pool maintenance team and oversee day-to-day operations. • Educate and train staff on proper water treatment procedures and safety protocols. • Conduct regular water testing to ensure compliance with environmental and health standards. • Analyse water quality data to identify trends and suggest corrective actions when necessary. Skills Needed - • Strong knowledge of chemistry • Strong knowledge of water chemistry, including chemical dosing, pH levels, chlorine management, and microbiological control. • Proficiency in using water testing equipment and performing accurate chemical analyses. • In-depth understanding of water filtration and disinfection systems. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve water quality issues effectively. • Strong communication skills to report findings and collaborate with teams. • Excellent team management skills for overseeing maintenance staff and operations. • Problem-solving skills to address water imbalances, contamination risks, and other issues. • Proficiency in MS Office for reporting, data analysis, and record-keeping. • Knowledge of environmental and health regulations related to water quality. • Attention to detail for ensuring consistent water quality and compliance with safety standards.
