Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to teach middle and/or high school students. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, a passion for teaching, and the ability to make science engaging through hands-on experiments, real-world applications, and inquiry-based learning. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver effective, engaging Science lessons (Physics, Chemistry, Biology as per grade allocation) in alignment with curriculum standards (CBSE/Cambridge/ICSE—depending on school board). Develop lesson plans, assessments, lab activities, and learning materials that cater to varied learning styles. Foster scientific curiosity and critical thinking through project work, debates, and explorations. Maintain a safe and organized classroom and science lab environment. Evaluate and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary teaching and school events. Integrate digital tools, simulations, and educational technologies into teaching. Participate in professional development programs, parent-teacher meetings, and school initiatives. Model ethical behavior and uphold the school's core values. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Science or relevant specialization (Physics/Chemistry/Biology). B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred. Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in CBSE or international curriculum. Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with experiential and concept-based learning methods. Passion for education, innovation, and student development. Preferred Attributes: Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Tech-savvy and comfortable using learning management systems (LMS), smartboards, and online platforms. Interest in mentoring students beyond the classroom (e.g., science fairs, Olympiads, clubs).
