Job Description: As a Store Assistant at Hotel Hyatt Regency - Ludhiana, Punjab , you will play a key role in maintaining the inventory and stock of goods, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting the overall operational efficiency of the hotel's procurement and storage functions. You will collaborate with various departments including kitchen, housekeeping, engineering, and F&B to ensure timely availability of quality materials. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and supplies according to company standards. Label and arrange materials systematically within the storage area. Monitor stock levels and notify the Team Leader of low stock or discrepancies. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the storage area to meet hygiene and safety regulations. Issue supplies and materials based on approved requisitions and maintain accurate issuance records. Assist with inventory checks, stock audits, and reporting as required. Ensure all documentation such as GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), invoices, and internal requests are accurately filed and updated. Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) inventory principles. Maintain effective communication with the purchasing team and department heads. Adhere to Hyatt's safety, security, and operational policies at all times. Qualification Criteria: Education & Experience: Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; a diploma/degree in Hotel Management or Stores Management is preferred .1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment .Freshers or hotel management students who have completed OJT (On-the-Job Training) and are willing to work are also encouraged to apply . Skills & Competencies : Basic understanding of inventory management systems and procedure s.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with hotel ERP systems (e.g., Iscala, Birch Street System, Material Control, SAP) is an advantag e.Good organizational and time-management skill s.Strong attention to detail and accurac y.Ability to lift moderately heavy items and work in storage environment s.Professional demeanor with strong teamwork and communication abilitie s .
