Key Responsibilities:Financial Accounting & ReportingMaintain day-to-day accounting records using Tally or other ERP systems. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Reconcile bank statements, cash books, and ledgers. Prepare fund utilization certificates (UCs) and financial reports as per DDUGKY, HSDM, UPSDM guidelines. Ensure accurate booking of expenses under the correct program heads. Compliance & AuditEnsure timely statutory compliance including GST, TDS, PF, and other applicable laws. Coordinate with internal and external auditors. Maintain documentation for audit trails and donor reporting. Budgeting & Fund ManagementAssist in preparation of budgets for new proposals. Monitor actual expenses against budgets and flag variances. Ensure timely disbursal of payments and salary processing. Program-Specific AccountingMaintain separate accounts for each project (DDUGKY, HSDM, UPSDM). Track fund disbursement and expenses specific to each program. Ensure compliance with financial guidelines issued by NSDC, SRLMs, or relevant state skill missions. Vendor & Payroll ManagementProcess vendor bills and ensure timely payments. Maintain payroll records and disburse salaries, including statutory deductions. Prepare Form 16 and other payroll-related statutory forms. Key Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of accounting principles and NGO financial management. Hands-on experience in managing accounts for government-funded skill development programs. Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software. Knowledge of financial guidelines from MoRD, NSDC, SRLMs. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Attention to detail and integrity in financial documentation. Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter/MBA Finance preferred). Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in an NGO or development sector. Prior experience in managing accounts for DDUGKY, HSDM, or UPSDM is highly desirable.
