Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) Operator

Job Description

Responsibilities: Operate, monitor, and maintain sewage treatment plant systems and equipment Record daily operational data and submit reports Ensure proper dosing of chemicals and manage biological treatment processes Handle routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of pumps, blowers, and filters Follow safety and environmental regulations Coordinate with supervisors for system upgrades and emergencies Qualifications Required: ITI/Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering Certification or training in STP/ETP operations preferred Experience with biological, chemical, and mechanical wastewater treatment processes Familiarity with SCADA systems (optional but preferred) Physically fit and willing to work in shifts Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role (freshers with proper training may also apply) Preferred Certifications: STP/ETP Operator Training from recognized institutes NSDC or CPCB-affiliated training programs Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
