Service Mechanic

Job Description

Advanced Diagnostics and Repairs: Identifying and repairing complex mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment. Preventative Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance checks, such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, and tire rotations, and advising on necessary repairs. Leadership and Mentoring: Overseeing and mentoring junior mechanics, providing technical guidance and support. Quality Control: Ensuring the quality and accuracy of repairs performed, and verifying that work meets safety and customer standards. Client Interaction: Communicating with clients to explain vehicle issues and repair recommendations, and providing estimates for work. Shop Management: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, managing inventory, and ensuring the proper use and maintenance of shop equipment. Compliance: Adhering to relevant regulations, including vehicle emission standards and safety guidelines. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of all work performed, including repair orders and vehicle maintenance logs.
