About Us: We are seeking a highly motivated and Sourcing & Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for purchasing goods for the enterprise and ensuring efficient usage of those items. This role includes implementing purchase plans, comparing prices, training new employees, researching products, and networking with suppliers. Job Title: Senior Sourcing Specialist Experience : 4 yrs to 10 yrs Key Responsibilities: Location: Chennai, Kattupakkam Job Type: Full-time Job Overview: The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing suppliers or candidates to meet business needs. They develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities: Supplier Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for goods and services. Negotiation: Secure cost-effective deals and favorable contract terms. Market Research: Analyze industry trends and supplier capabilities. Compliance: Ensure adherence to procurement policies and regulations. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams to forecast supply needs. Talent Sourcing : Identify and attract top talent using various sourcing techniques. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or HR (depending on focus). 2+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or talent acquisition. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in sourcing tools (e.g., Panjiva for trade sourcing, LinkedIn for talent sourcing). Knowledge of compliance standards (FSSAI, Kosher, organic certifications for food sourcing).
