About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Magento Developer to lead the development and optimization of our eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Magento 2 , strong backend development skills, and a proven track record of delivering scalable and high-performance eCommerce solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Magento 2 eCommerce websites and modules. Customize Magento themes and extensions to meet business requirements. Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability. Integrate third-party services and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, ERP, CRM, shipping providers). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, QA, and project managers. Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to development best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and scalability issues. Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Stay updated on emerging technologies and Magento platform updates. Required Skills & Qualifications: 7+ years of professional experience in web development with at least 5 years in Magento 2 . Deep understanding of Magento architecture, themes, and custom module development. Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3. Experience with REST and SOAP APIs. Strong understanding of database design and performance optimization. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment workflows. Knowledge of security best practices in eCommerce. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Preferred Qualifications: Magento 2 Certification(s) (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert). Experience with headless commerce or PWA (Progressive Web Apps). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker). Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
