Role & responsibilities Job Description: We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager with expertise in general trade and experience in Tea Time products within the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate should be adept at managing distributor relationships, leading a sales team, and driving business growth while ensuring strong market penetration. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute effective sales strategies for general trade channels. Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in the tea and beverage category. Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to achieve targets and ensure efficient territory management. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities , expanding market presence. Monitor and analyse market trends to align sales strategies with customer demand. Collaborate with marketing teams to drive brand visibility and product promotions in retail outlets. Ensure seamless stock availability, minimizing shortages and optimizing inventory turnover. Negotiate and finalize business contracts, ensuring profitability and sustainable partnerships. Requirements: experience in FMCG sales, specifically in tea or beverage products. Strong leadership and team management skills with a history of driving sales success. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Willingness to travel for market visits and business expansion initiatives. Preferred candidate profile
