Job Title: Sales Executive Department: Sales & Marketing Reports To: Sales & Marketing Manager Supervises: None Job Summary: The Sales Executive is responsible for generating business for the hotel by identifying potential clients, building relationships, promoting services, and achieving sales targets. The role involves both fieldwork and administrative tasks to support the overall sales strategy. Key Responsibilities: Identify and approach potential clients through calls, emails, visits, and networking. Promote hotel services such as rooms, banquets, conferences, and restaurant offerings. Maintain regular contact with existing clients to build loyalty and secure repeat business. Handle client inquiries, prepare proposals, negotiate rates, and close bookings. Assist in creating and executing promotional campaigns and marketing activities. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client details, and contract agreements. Coordinate with operations, front office, and reservations for smooth execution of bookings. Achieve assigned sales targets and report progress to the Sales Manager. Represent the hotel at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings. Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on competitor activities. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or Business Administration. 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality or service sector. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, target-driven, and well-organized. Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools. Ability to work independently and handle client meetings professionally. Flexibility to travel locally for client visits and events.
