Job Description: Railway Alignment Engineer Asansol Position: Railway Alignment Engineer Location: Asansol, West Bengal Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Railway Alignment Engineer to join our team at Asansol . The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing railway alignments, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulatory guidelines. Candidates with experience in NHAI geometric design engineering are also welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities: Design and review horizontal and vertical railway alignments using CAD software. Coordinate with project teams, government authorities, and external consultants. Ensure designs adhere to safety standards, environmental regulations, and railway codes. Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for project approval. Monitor construction progress and provide engineering solutions as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in railway alignment design and infrastructure projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bentley Rail Track, or similar software. Strong understanding of railway engineering standards (e.g., IRPWM, BIS codes). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred: Experience working on railway projects in India. Knowledge of GIS mapping and geotechnical analysis. Candidates with experience in NHAI geometric design engineering are also welcome to apply.
